Emiliano Durand

Emiliano Durand is an Argentine politician, lawyer, and journalist currently serving as the Mayor of Salta. Born in 1976 in Salta, he previously served as a Provincial Senator for the Capital Department from 2021 to 2023 and held a brief tenure as Chief of Cabinet for the Municipality of Salta in 2014. Throughout his career, Durand has been active in media, founding the digital newspaper Que Pasa Salta and hosting various television and radio programs. As mayor, he has focused his administration on urban infrastructure, road improvements, and the modernization of municipal services, while maintaining a strong emphasis on technical management and proximity to local residents.
