Enis Tiz

Enis Tiz is a German politician serving as the Mayor of Kitzingen since 2026. Born in 1994 in Aachen to Turkish immigrant parents, he later moved to Würzburg, where he earned a doctorate in law from the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg with a dissertation on honor killings. Before his election, he worked as a department head in the construction and environmental office of the Kitzingen district administration. Tiz won the mayoral runoff election in March 2026 as a candidate for the Free Voters party.
