Eric Brooks is an American politician currently serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates for the 45th district. Born in Beckley, West Virginia, in 1971, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from West Virginia University in 1994. Before entering politics, Brooks had a long career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where he worked from 1995 until his retirement in 2021. He was elected to the state legislature in November 2022 and assumed office on December 1, 2022.
