Erica van Lente is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Midden-Groningen since July 9, 2024. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), she previously held mayoral positions in Bedum and Dalfsen. Before her career in local government, she worked in advisory roles for Gasunie and as a senior advisor for NAM. Recognized for her administrative leadership, she was named the Best Administrator of a small municipality in 2023. She holds a degree in Romance Languages and Cultures from the University of Groningen.
