Erich Wahl is an Austrian politician and a member of the Landtag of Upper Austria, representing the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Born in St. Georgen an der Gusen, he trained as an electrician before pursuing studies in business administration and public management. Wahl served as the mayor of his hometown from 2007 to 2021. He assumed his current mandate in the state parliament in November 2022. In 2017, he was awarded the Order of Merit for Polish Culture.
