Erik Pauly

Erik Pauly is a German local politician and the current Mayor of Donaueschingen, a position he has held since 2014. Before entering full-time politics, he worked as a lawyer specializing in public and inheritance law, having opened his own firm in 2004. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Pauly also serves as a reserve officer in the German Armed Forces with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was re-elected as mayor in 2021 with a significant majority of the vote.
