Erika Hilton is a Brazilian politician and activist who serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. She made history in 2022 by becoming one of the first two openly transgender people elected to the National Congress of Brazil. Previously, she served as a councilor in the Municipal Chamber of São Paulo, where she was the most-voted candidate in the 2020 municipal elections. A prominent advocate for black and LGBTQ+ rights, Hilton has focused her legislative work on human rights, labor inclusion, and social equality.
