Representing the Kumawu Constituency in the Ashanti Region, he secured his seat following a landslide victory in a by-election held on May 23, 2023. Prior to his parliamentary career, he worked as a senior accountant at Vanguard Properties Development and as an account officer at the Millennium Development Authority. He holds a Master's degree in Financial Economics from Ohio University.
