Esther Matiko is a Tanzanian politician and a member of the Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA) party. Born in 1976, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and Nutrition and an MBA. Matiko has served as a Member of the National Assembly since 2010, initially representing a special seat for women before winning the Tarime Urban constituency in 2015. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has served on various committees, including the Public Investment Committee, and has acted as a shadow minister for Natural Resources and Tourism.
