Margaret Simwanza Sitta

Margaret Simwanza Sitta is a Tanzanian politician and member of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi party who served as a Member of Parliament for Urambo from 2015 to 2020, having previously been elected to the parliament in 2005 and 2010. Before her political career, she worked as a teacher in government schools and held various educational administration roles, including District Education Officer and Head of the Workers Education Department. She served in the national government as the Minister of Education and Vocational Training from 2006 to 2008 and subsequently as the Minister of Community Development, Gender and Children from 2008 to 2010.
