Etkin Armut is a Dutch politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, having been elected in 2025. Born in 1998 in Assen and raised in Hoogezand, she is of Kurdish descent with family roots in southeastern Turkey. Armut holds a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Groningen. Prior to her national parliamentary role, she served as a municipal councillor in Groningen starting in 2022.
