Freek Jansen

Freek Jansen is a Dutch politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives for the Forum for Democracy (FvD) party between 2021 and 2026. A political science graduate from the University of Amsterdam, he was instrumental in establishing the FvD youth wing in 2017 and served as its chair. Throughout his career, Jansen has been a prominent figure within the party, often associated with nationalist and right-wing populist views, including strong opposition to mass immigration and concerns regarding the perceived decline of Western civilization. He resigned from his parliamentary seat in May 2026 following the birth of his child.
