Eugen Bejinariu is a Romanian politician and a long-serving member of the Chamber of Deputies. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and previously served as the acting Prime Minister of Romania for one week in December 2004, following the resignation of Adrian Năstase. Before his tenure as acting Prime Minister, he held the position of Minister of Government Coordination and served as the chairman of Romania's State Protocol Department. Bejinariu also holds the rank of major general in the reserves.
