Eugene Yaw is an American politician currently serving as a Republican member of the Pennsylvania State Senate for the 23rd district, a position he has held since 2009. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he previously served as the Lycoming County solicitor for 17 years. Throughout his legislative career, Yaw has been a prominent supporter of the gas industry and Marcellus Shale drilling. He currently chairs the Senate Environmental Resources & Energy Committee and has been recognized for his legislative efforts in support of small businesses.
