Everth Hawkins Sjogreen

Everth Hawkins Sjogreen is a Colombian politician currently serving as the Governor of the Department of San Andrés and Providencia. Born on July 17, 1976, he is a member of the Raizal community and has dedicated his career to public service within the archipelago. A lawyer by training, he holds a degree from the Universidad Libre and has specialized in administrative law and territorial entity management. Before his election as governor in 2019, he was active in local governance, focusing on the unique administrative and social challenges of the island department.
