Fabien Genet

Fabien Genet is a French politician who has served as a Senator for Saône-et-Loire since September 2020. A local government legal expert by training, he began his political career at age 20 as a municipal councilor in Digoin. Over the following decades, he held various local offices, including Regional Councilor for Burgundy, Mayor of Digoin from 2014 to 2020, and President of the Grand Charolais community of communes. He is also an author of several historical and regional works focused on the Charolais-Brionnais area.
