Fabio Amín

Fabio Raúl Amín Saleme is a Colombian economist and politician currently serving as a Senator of Colombia, a position he has held since 2018. Born in Lorica, Córdoba, he graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. Amín began his political career in 2004 as a member of the Departmental Assembly of Córdoba. He subsequently served in the Chamber of Representatives for twelve years starting in 2006, during which time he held the office of President of the Chamber of Representatives from 2014 to 2015. He is a member of the Liberal Party.
