Miguel Ángel Pinto

Miguel Ángel Pinto Hernández is a Colombian politician and lawyer who currently serves as a Senator of Colombia. A member of the Liberal Party, he previously represented the department of Santander in the Chamber of Representatives from 2011 to 2018, where he served as president of the chamber in 2016. During his tenure in the Senate, he has held significant leadership roles, including vice president of the Senate and acting president of the Senate in 2023. Pinto is recognized for his extensive legislative career and his involvement in the First Constitutional Commission.
