Farah Mohamed

Farah Mohamed is a Canadian Senator and prominent advocate for youth and gender equality. Born in Kampala, Uganda, she immigrated to Canada as a refugee. Before her appointment to the Senate in March 2025, she served as the CEO of The King’s Trust Canada and the Malala Fund, and founded the leadership organization G(irls)20. Recognized for her extensive humanitarian work, she has received numerous honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
