Farhad Hossain Azad is a Bangladeshi politician and a Member of the Jatiya Sangsad representing the Panchagarh-2 constituency. Born on March 12, 1966, in Panchagarh District, he completed his bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Dhaka before pursuing higher studies abroad specializing in international relations and development economics. He entered politics in 1991, previously serving as the rural development secretary for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and as member secretary for the Panchagarh District BNP, and currently serves as the state minister of water resources in the Tarique ministry.
