Fatim Diarra

Fatim Diarra is a Finnish politician who has served as a Member of the Parliament of Finland representing the Helsinki constituency since the 2023 parliamentary election. A member of the Green League, she has been a city councilor in Helsinki since 2017 and was elected Chair of the Helsinki City Council in 2021. Diarra previously served as deputy chairperson of her party from 2019 to 2021. Beyond her legislative work, she is a prominent advocate for feminist causes, chairing the organization Naisasialiitto Unioni and serving on the board of the European Women’s Lobby. Her political activism is deeply rooted in social justice, including support for the Black Lives Matter movement and body positivity advocacy.
