Fernando Rabat is a Chilean lawyer, scholar, and politician who has served as the Minister of Justice and Human Rights since March 2026 under the administration of President José Antonio Kast. A professor of civil law at the University of Development, he previously built a career in private legal practice, notably participating in the defense teams for Augusto Pinochet and Lucía Hiriart. He also served on the Board of the Legal Aid Corporation during the presidency of Sebastián Piñera.
