
Ximena Lincolao

Ximena Lincolao is a Chilean-American educator, technology entrepreneur, and civic innovation leader who has served as the Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation of Chile since March 2026. Born in Santiago to a Mapuche family, she later emigrated to the United States, where she earned a doctorate from George Washington University and held leadership roles in the District of Columbia Public Schools and the Department of Parks and Recreation. In 2012, she co-founded the civic technology platform Phone2Action, which became a leading tool for grassroots advocacy in the United States. As the first Mapuche woman to hold a ministerial position in Chile, she brings extensive experience in digital platforms, education, and public policy to her current role in the administration of President José Antonio Kast.
