María Paz Arzola

María Paz Arzola González is a Chilean politician and commercial engineer who serves as the Minister of Education of Chile, having assumed office on March 11, 2026. Prior to her appointment, she built a career as a researcher and coordinator at the think tank Libertad y Desarrollo, focusing on social policy and education. She also served as an adjunct instructor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and worked as Head of Studies at Vinos de Chile. Arzola holds degrees in commercial engineering and economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, as well as a master's degree in Political Philosophy and Ethics from Adolfo Ibáñez University.
