Firhad Hakim

Firhad Hakim is an Indian politician serving as a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly for the Kolkata Port constituency. A prominent leader of the All India Trinamool Congress, he has held significant cabinet positions in the Government of West Bengal, including Minister of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs. Known for his long-standing political career in Kolkata, he previously served as the Mayor of Kolkata from 2018 to 2026. Hakim is a member of the party's National Working Committee and has been a key figure in state governance since his initial election to the assembly in 2009.
