Frédéric Daerden

Frédéric Daerden is a Belgian politician and a member of the French-speaking Socialist Party. Born in 1970, he has served as the mayor of Herstal since 2006 and previously held a seat in the European Parliament starting in 2009. Following the 2024 Belgian federal election, he was elected to the Belgian Federal Parliament. He is the son of the late politician Michel Daerden and continues to be an active figure in Belgian regional and federal politics.
