Born in 1989, she trained as a pharmaceutical-technical assistant and later pursued studies in biology. Leschewitz began her political career in the Spandau district assembly before serving multiple non-consecutive terms in the Berlin state parliament, first joining in 2020. Her legislative work has primarily focused on health policy. She most recently returned to the Abgeordnetenhaus in May 2025.
