Fred van Trigt

Fred van Trigt is a Dutch politician and administrator currently serving as the Mayor of Zoeterwoude, a position he has held since October 2020. Before his mayoral tenure, he was active in local politics in Hillegom, where he served as a municipal councilor, faction leader for the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), and an alderman. His professional background includes a career in business as an interim manager and director for various sports facilities, as well as experience as a physical education teacher. Van Trigt has announced his intention to step down as mayor in July 2026.
