Frieda Gijbels

Frieda Gijbels is a Belgian politician and a member of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA). Before entering politics, she pursued a career in dentistry, graduating from KU Leuven and specializing in periodontics. She earned a doctorate in medical sciences in 2003 and established her own periodontology practice in Oudsbergen. Gijbels was elected to the Belgian Chamber of Representatives in the 2019 federal election, representing the Limburg constituency.
