Frits Naafs is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Utrechtse Heuvelrug since September 2006. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he previously held various municipal roles in Loenen aan de Vecht, Cothen, Bunnik, and Leusden. He served as an alderman in Wijk bij Duurstede starting in 1996 and was the Mayor of Rhenen from 2002 to 2006. In 2025, he briefly served as the acting mayor of Wijk bij Duurstede. Naafs is recognized for his long-standing commitment to local governance in the Utrecht province.
