Fuat Oktay

Fuat Oktay is a Turkish politician, academic, and civil servant currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly. He previously served as the first Vice President of Turkey from 2018 to 2023, following the transition to an executive presidential system. Before his vice presidency, he held significant roles in the civil service, including as the head of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) and as undersecretary to the prime minister. His career also includes extensive experience in academia and the private sector, notably in management roles at Turkish Airlines and various engineering consultancies.
