古井康介

Kosuke Furui is a Japanese politician, entrepreneur, and social activist serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Toyama in 1995, he founded the media company POTETO Media in 2017, which focuses on making political information more accessible to younger generations through graphic design and digital communication. His political interest was sparked by personal experiences with financial hardship during his youth, leading him to advocate for the role of government in supporting citizens. After an unsuccessful bid in the 2024 general election, he was elected to the House of Representatives in 2026 representing the Hokuriku-Shin'etsu proportional block. He has also served as a public relations advisor for government initiatives, including COVID-19 response efforts.
