Shinji Yoshida is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, he began his political career as a Shimonoseki City Council member, where he served three terms and held positions such as vice-chair of the council. He was elected to the national Diet in 2023 following a by-election for the former Yamaguchi 4th district, succeeding the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
