Gérard Trémège

Gérard Trémège is a French politician who served as the Mayor of Tarbes from 2001 to 2025. Throughout his career, he held various regional and national mandates, including serving as a member of the National Assembly for the Hautes-Pyrénées department and as a regional councillor for Midi-Pyrénées and Occitanie. He also presided over the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tarbes and the Hautes-Pyrénées. In December 2025, he was removed from office following a conviction for favoritism and illegal conflict of interest regarding public procurement contracts.
