Gabby Salinas

Gabby Salinas is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 96. Born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, she moved to Memphis, Tennessee, as a child to receive treatment for Ewing sarcoma at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A graduate of Christian Brothers University, Salinas previously made unsuccessful bids for the Tennessee Senate and the Tennessee House before winning her seat in 2024. Her background as a childhood cancer survivor has been a central aspect of her public profile.
