Gabriel Mbairobe is a Cameroonian engineer and politician currently serving as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, a position he has held since January 2019. Born in Garoua, he holds an engineering degree in electromechanics from the National Advanced School of Engineering in Yaoundé. Before his ministerial appointment, he had a long career at the Cotton Development Company of Cameroon (Sodecoton), where he specialized in the installation of ginning factories. Additionally, he served as the president of the Coton Sport de Garoua football club from 2003 to 2017 and has been involved in local politics as a municipal councilor in Garoua.
