Achille Bassilekin III is a Cameroonian politician and diplomat who has served as the Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts since January 2019. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he held various high-level positions within the Cameroonian government and international organizations, including roles at the Ministry of External Relations and the Secretariat of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States. An expert in international relations and trade, he has authored numerous publications on global trade issues and economic diplomacy. He holds a doctorate in international relations and has studied at institutions in Madrid, Beijing, Strasbourg, Paris, and Geneva.
