Gabriela Benavides Cobos is a Mexican politician and lawyer currently serving as a Federal Deputy in the Chamber of Deputies. Previously, she served as a Senator of the Republic representing Colima from 2018 to 2024 and as the Municipal President of Manzanillo from 2015 to 2018. Early in her career, she held various public service roles, including serving as a local deputy in the Congress of Colima between 2012 and 2015. Originally affiliated with the National Action Party (PAN), she is now a member of the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico (PVEM).
