Gagan Mohindra is a British Conservative politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for South West Hertfordshire since 2019. Born in 1978 to a Punjabi Hindu family, he studied mathematics at King's College London and worked in the financial services sector before founding the Chromex Group. Prior to his parliamentary career, Mohindra served as a councillor for Epping Forest District Council and Essex County Council. In Parliament, he has held several roles, including Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Home Secretary and Assistant Government Whip. As of November 2024, he serves as the Opposition Deputy Chief Whip in the House of Commons.
