Gary Bouse is a Scottish politician serving as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for Falkirk West since May 2026. Before his election to the Scottish Parliament, he served as a councillor for the Carse, Kinnaird and Tryst ward on Falkirk Council, having been elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2022. In 2023, he sought the Scottish National Party nomination for the Falkirk constituency in the 2024 United Kingdom general election. He was subsequently selected as the SNP candidate for the 2026 Scottish Parliament election, succeeding Michael Matheson.
