Zameer Choudrey, Baron Choudrey

Zameer Choudrey, Baron Choudrey is a British-Pakistani businessman and life peer who has served as a Member of the House of Lords since 2019. He is the chief executive of the multinational conglomerate Bestway Group, having joined the company in 1984 and played a pivotal role in its expansion into wholesale, cement, and pharmacy sectors. A long-standing supporter of the Conservative Party, he was appointed co-chairman of the Conservative Friends of Pakistan in 2013. In the House of Lords, he has focused on economic policy, social mobility, and the challenges facing community pharmacists and small businesses.
