Gary Middleton

Gary Middleton is a former Northern Irish politician who served as a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLA) for Foyle from 2015 until 2026. A member of the Democratic Unionist Party, he previously served on the Derry City Council and the Derry and Strabane District Council. During his tenure in the Assembly, he held the position of Junior Minister for the Executive Office. Middleton resigned from his political roles in April 2026, citing concerns regarding his mental health.
