Before entering politics, she was a prominent radio broadcaster, famously known as the 'Queen of Vernacular Radio' for her work at Kameme FM and Inooro FM. She previously served as the Kiambu County Women Representative from 2017 to 2022. Known for her outspoken nature and controversial stances on social issues, she has advocated for topics such as polygamy and has been a vocal critic of government fiscal policies. In 2025, she was recognized as an Amujae leader by the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development.
