Gatis Liepiņš

Gatis Liepiņš is a Latvian politician and historian currently serving as a member of the 14th Saeima. Born in 1989 in Riga, he holds a master's degree in history from the University of Latvia. Before his parliamentary career, he worked at the National Archives of Latvia, focusing on documents related to the State Security Committee and Soviet-era repressions. He previously served as an advisor to the Deputy Chairman of the Riga City Council. Since April 2024, he has chaired the Saeima's Public Expenditure and Audit Committee.
