Gauri Kumari Yadav

Gauri Kumari Yadav is a Nepalese politician serving as the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and as a member of the Pratinidhi Sabha representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party. Born in Samsi, Mahottari District, she completed her I.Sc. degree in science before entering active politics in 2026. In the 2026 general election, she achieved a landmark victory in the Mahottari 4 constituency by defeating established politicians and became one of the few women elected under the First-past-the-post electoral system.
