Dhaka Kumar Shrestha

Dhaka Kumar Shrestha is a former Nepalese politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives. Elected in the 2022 general election as a proportional representative under the indigenous people category, he was affiliated with the Rastriya Swatantra Party. His parliamentary tenure ended following a major controversy in 2023, when leaked audio recordings surfaced in which he was allegedly heard demanding 20 million rupees from businessman Durga Prasai. Following the scandal and subsequent allegations of abusing his authority, he was suspended from his parliamentary duties.
