Asim Shah

Asim Shah is a Nepalese politician, filmmaker, and the current Political Advisor to the Prime Minister of Nepal. Before entering politics, he established a career in the Nepali film industry as a director and producer, known for works such as Dui Rupaiya. He served as a Member of the House of Representatives from 2022 to 2025, where he advocated for governance reform and freedom of expression. In 2026, he was elected as a Joint General Secretary of the Rastriya Swatantra Party and subsequently appointed to his current advisory role within the Prime Minister's secretariat.
