Rabi Lamichhane is a Nepalese politician and the founding chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). Before entering politics, he was a prominent television journalist and presenter, famously setting a world record for the longest live television talk show broadcast in 2013. Since founding the RSP in 2022, he has served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs on two occasions. He represents the Chitwan 2 constituency in the House of Representatives, having secured his third consecutive victory in the 2026 general election.
