三浦源吾

Gengo Miura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Gobo City in Wakayama Prefecture. Born in 1959, he graduated from Kyoto Sangyo University and spent his early career as a civil servant in the Wakayama Prefectural Government, where he held various leadership roles including Director of the Agricultural Production Bureau and Director of the Hidaka Promotion Bureau. He retired from the prefectural government in 2020 and was subsequently elected as Mayor of Gobo in May 2020. He was re-elected to a second term in 2024.
