George Papandreou

George Papandreou is a Greek politician who currently serves as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament. A member of a prominent political dynasty, he previously served as the Prime Minister of Greece from 2009 to 2011 during the onset of the country's sovereign debt crisis. Throughout his career, he has held several ministerial positions, including Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for National Education and Religious Affairs. He also served as the president of the Socialist International from 2006 to 2022.
